  1. I rarely shoot color, but this weekend I shot a roll of E100 SW slide film walking around the French Quarter. These were shot with a 50mm Summicron; the last model. This lens is so "clinically" sharp, I believe it must have been designed for color film. Dennis

  3. nice shots Dennis and John......

  4. Ditto--all three very nice, guys. If you're of such a mind,
Dennis, it would be good to see more color work.

  5. Fine color study, Dennis.

  6. Very Quarter-esque, Dennis. I like 'em.

  7. Dennis - How are you scanning these. Your blacks and shadow
    detail are coming out great.

  8. Donald:

I'm using a Minolta Scan Dual III. Scanning is not my strongest suit, but I'm slowly learning. Before the final scan I am adjusting the black/white curve, just like I'd do with a black and white image. I think that's why the images have some "pop". I also think it's a good lens that holds detail well.
