Just bought a Bessa R3M

Been looking to add a solid 35mm camera to my kit and after thinking for like ever that I wanted a vintage camera, (I actually bought then returned one from the 1950s) I finally just bought a Voigtlander Bessa R3M camera with their Nokton 40mm lens. I'm pretty excited about it, and also feeling like I can relax and move on to maybe acquiring a vintage 6X9! LOL

BUT never mind that...

So I guess I'm wondering if anyone has an R3M and if so, what can you say about it? Tips, advice, positive or negative input on functions, features, or/and experiences, anecdotes, share some images, etc etc.

Thanks!

Tom

About as good a Voigtlander model as you can buy with the 1:1 finder. The rangefinder base is something like 75% the effective magnification of an M body with the .72 finder, so the longer 75/90mm lenses, if you buy an f2 or faster model, may be problematic to focus accurately wide open and up close, but with the 40mm lens should be pretty darn fun to use.
