I'm thinking of getting a lift for it tomake things a big easier (and cleaner, fewer drips of chem on thetable, etc). I was wondering if anyone has used a jobo with andwithout a lift, and if you think it's a big imporovement to have one,or nice but not quit worth the cash? Thanks very much for your replies. jeff_lentz Posted October 15, 2003 Share Posted October 15, 2003 I wouldn't want to use my CPE2+ without a lift. I feel, that I can be more consistent with one, not to mention it cuts down on mess. On the other hand I have never used one without it. I'd imagine that it would be fine as long as you start without one and get used to it. Of course, then another friend got an RA-4 machine that took 16x20 C-prints from dry to dry in a couple of minutes- very sweet, but another story. I'd look for a lift for your CPE2 on eBay. Currently, there's a lift for a CPA2 or CPP2 going for $1.25 in a no reserve auction (Item 2956934730).
