It's a Kodak folder, but...

But which one?? I got my hands on this beast just recently but I have no idea what type it is. It's in good condition, came with the original carrying-case, glas is clean, bellows is OK and the shutter even works. To bad it works with a filmtype that is long gone I'm afraid (it's bigger than a 120 spool). It looks a higher end type judging on the way it's build. Anybody an idea? And what is it worth? I might sell it since I have no real use for it. If anybody is interested just let me know.

00Su9v-120185584.jpg.37f10cb9217327c22ebf092feccf5ccf.jpg

After looking on the web for that type I must say it's very alike but not quite the same, especially the 2 "tubes" next to the shutter are quite different then what I see on the No3 autographic one. I added 2 photo's that are a little bit better then the first one.

You may already know this, but T T & H on the lens presumably stands for Taylor, Taylor and Hobson who were lens makers of high repute based in Leicester, England (where I live!). I can remember their factory in the city and the company still exists under a different name. It seems odd to see one of their lenses on an American Kodak, perhaps someone knows the story?

OK, as far as I can tell by looking at the web it's a Kodak 3A folding Pocket Camera, there seems to be a vast number of different sub-models in this camera class.

Ah well, if somebody is interested in this just let me know. I'm always open to trade it for a folding plate camera (preferably a 9x12cm folding plate camera.).

My guess is it's probably tariffs at work. (High tariff on imported lenses, so Kodak ships lensless cameras to the UK and has them fitted with locally-made lenses.)
