ronaldo_r
Received from [allegedly] SterlingTek. The packaging looks rather dodgy, doesn't say "SterlingTek" anywhere (so much for their worldwide fame?) On the battery it reads as follows: POWWER For BP511 ReplacementLi-ion Battery 7.4V 2000mAH ("POWWER" is spelled with two "W") real thing? steve torelli
Yeah, I've got one just like it and it works fine. I don't think Sterlingtek manufacturers batteries, I believe they're just a distributer. Good luck.

doug_axford1
Same here - make sure that you use their charger for the 2000 mAh.
ronaldo_r
What happens if I use the original Canon charger?
