Renee Shipley
I could have sworn I saw something before the upgrade, offering pnet members access to CC for 7.99/mth vs 9.99/mth. Is that still valid?
Landrum Kelly
I believe $9.99/mo. is still the going price now. I could be wrong. I have been thinking about upgrading from CS5 for a while now because I need ACR, and it is a pain to try to work around that every time I get a new camera. Landrum Kelly
I guess that it is alright to post the Adobe page here: https://creative.adobe.com/plans?promoid=VBF1KRH4&mv=other
Renee Shipley
It is a pain when you get a new camera. I have the same thing, CS5, and when going from my d7000 to the d750 I had to start using the DNG converter. I thought that before pnet's upgrade, there was a blip somewhere about us being able to get it for $7.99 vs the customary $9.99/mth. I know it's only $2 per month, but hey $2 is $2 and over a year I can pay for another year of pnet with the savings !
Renee Shipley
I was wracking my brain trying to remember where I had seen the information on the Adobe CC discount for pnet users before the upgraded site went live. I thought it might have been on the page where the benefits of membership were outlined..so I went to My Account to see what Renew my Membership would give me. (It might not be called exactly that). I didn't find the information on the Adobe CC discount but I did see that there is now only a one year membership option? And it's $29.99? I could be wrong or misreading something so if I am, please correct me. Thanks, Renee
Landrum Kelly
No, I believe you are right that there was some kind of offer through PN for $7.99. I had forgotten that, and I misread your original post. I might have to look into that $29.99 option. Thank you, Renee.
Renee Shipley
I'm sorry - I didn't clearly say what I meant. Membership to pnet is now $29.99/year. It was $25, and if you chose a 3-year option there was a small discount ($67, I think it was, vs the $75).
Landrum Kelly
"Membership to pnet is now $29.99/year." Is it really? I find that amusing somehow. Trying to get rich off the massive increase in demand, I guess.
