Is Konica IR 750 120 film discontinued?

The film had weak IR sensitivity to begin with, so in that respect it was no big loss.

What was cool about the Konica film is it had a huge density range, and pretty darn good pictorial qualities. Kind of like a cross between Kodak Plus-X and Pan-F. Grain wasn't too shabby either.

I bought a bunch of outdated rolls this spring from B&H. Central

Camera here in Chicago told me that it is only shipped once a

year and they were still waiting for their supply to arrive. They

were told that a large retailer in New York bought all that was

available. Perhaps that's whay Andorama still has fresh rolls on

their website? Any ways, here's one of my shots with IR 750:

I really love this film, and will greatly miss it if they do stop

producing it. Is there another alternative for 120? I've tried the

Ilford SFX 200, but that just does not produce the same effect.

There's no mention of their discontinuing this film on the Japanese KonicaMinolta web site.

This film is only produced once per year in the spring, so perhaps B&H just means that their supply of this year's film has sold out and they have to wait until next year before they get fresh film.
