david_kelly13
Apple has often been slow about adding cameras to the list it supports -the K100D was added after it was discontinued! Does anybody know whether iPhoto 08 and Aperture 2.0 support Pentax raw?

mc2imaging
I'm running Aperture 1.5 and it handles DNGs from my K10D's and PEF's from my intern's K110D just fine. I know the version of iPhoto that Joel is running on his MacBook does not support his PEF's, but I can't say for sure which version it is.
paul_thebert
iPhoto '08 does support RAW for my K100D Super... Apple released an free update a month or two ago.
jemal.yarbrough
I was using iphoto 'o8, and was generally very happy with it. No problems handling raw. Although I'd probably get apeture which is more complete.
andrewg_ny
I believe they use the same OS-provided RAW support so if a camera is supported in one, it will be supported in both. The recent release also (finally) added *ist DS2/DL2.
kfrog
I didn't know iphoto supported RAW photos! It has limited capability compared to other programs but for slight photo adjustments it will do in a snap.
shawn_hamer
At this point, iPhoto '08/Aperture does not yet support K20d RAW files. Found this out the hard way & I'm really ticked off about it. Apple REALLY needs to get their act together when it comes to supporting RAW formats. This is the second time this has happened to me (1st was with my *ist, but my K10d had no issues). Adobe is supporting the K20d - maybe I should just switch to Lightroom.
