Instant paper orientation?

Recommended Posts

Are there currently produced instant photo papers where the side facing the viewer is the same that faced the lens?

No. Not if you want to see the subject the right way round.

A projected image is inverted and reversed left to right. So you need a mirror or prism interposed to get the image reading correctly from the side that faced the lens.

Sorry for this dumb question, but...

I read that Fuji Instax is exposed from the rear - opposite of what I'm looking for.

Thank you in advance,

Oleg.

Yes, the Polaroid '600', 'SX-70' and i-Type' films.

Assuming you want instant film, like Instax, not paper.

The cameras contain mirrors to correct the image orientation.
