oleg_kosyakovsky
Sorry for this dumb question, but... Are there currently produced instant photo papers where the side facing the viewer is the same that faced the lens? I read that Fuji Instax is exposed from the rear - opposite of what I'm looking for. Thank you in advance, Oleg.
rodeo_joe1
Are there currently produced instant photo papers where the side facing the viewer is the same that faced the lens? No. Not if you want to see the subject the right way round. A projected image is inverted and reversed left to right. So you need a mirror or prism interposed to get the image reading correctly from the side that faced the lens.

Assuming you want instant film, like Instax, not paper. The cameras contain mirrors to correct the image orientation. glen_h
Yes the convenience of the SX-70 SLR system is that the mirror up reverses the image. Mirror down reflects it into the viewfinder. The Kodak/Fuji expose from the back fixes that problem. -- glen
