Informal posing

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I recently saw a photo in a wedding technique book by Bill Hurter shot by one David Williams. The photo was

of a bridal party outdoors that was posed but very informal. I thought it was a very nice style. Apparently he is known

for this type of informal posing. A search on the net reveals more than a few David Williams. Can anyone give me a

clue as to a website or someone else who does similar informal posing?. I know it could be asking a lot, but someone may know.

Thanks, take care

Al

Sam Hassas is indeed very good with group posing. Looking at his poses, though, he uses fairly standard 'things' for people to 'do'. You could study a book such as one of the below, and put together similar groups...if this is what you are talking about

I attended one of his 3 day Almost Alone Seminars in 2008. He is a great guy and the cost of his seminar is ridiculously low compared to others, and you'll come away with much more than your money's worth. I highly recommend him.
By the way, you'll find many accomplished photographers do repeats of David's seminars. Next time he's anywhere close to me, I'm going back.
Check him out.
