tjibbe_veeloo
I just bought a Durst A600 enlarger on auction, there came no manual with it, and I am hoping someone can give me some help with it. It came with a schneider 80 mm. lens incl. lensboard. Lensboard for a 50 mm.lens. Autoneg carrier for 6x9. Carrier for 35 mm.film. 2 autocon 85 condensors. The last 2 give me a problem,I know they have to be used in conjunction but I don't know how to place them,I have a feeling I am missing a sort of carrier for them. I will only do b+w printing in 6x7 / 6x6 and maybe some 35 mm. format. I assume the 85 condensors go together with the 80 mm.componon ? Will the 80 mm. componon cover 6x7 format ? If I want to do 35 mm. format do I need another set of condensors? A lot of questions, I hope someone will find the time and be so kind to answer them and I will finally start building my own darkroom. Happy New Year to you all. james_hicks2
This is only a year late but I just ran into your question on the Durst A600 enlarger. It is an excellent machine, autofocus with a cam matching the lens....assume yours is set up for an 80mm lens. If you still have questions contact me as I have one also and have some spare parts that I have accumulated. We might can do some trading if you want to set up for other formats. Hope you are enjoying the machine by now, Regards, Jim Hicks

rodeo_joe1
Durst enlargers were common as dirt, and I believe the lensboards were interchangeable across several models. You should have little trouble finding one. However, you need to know the thread of the enlarging lens. Most 50mm lenses used the standard 39mm x 26tpi Leica thread, but, there were some Schneider lenses with an oddball 25mm thread. So you need to measure your enlarging lens thread first. chazfenn
Durst parts use a letter, rather than a numeric part # system. Various lens-boards may be flat or recessed, depending on focal length of the lens. Recessed ones frequently end in "TUB" & flat ones in "LA", its confusing until you get the hang of it. "IXOTUB"s & "SETOPLA's for example. The thread diameter forms the last part of the cat # so a "SETOPLA 25" Or an IXOTUB39, will be flat or recessed for 50 or 80mm with either the 25 or the 39mm thread. The 80mm won't cover 6X7 adequately, you need a 105 for that.
takashikikkawa
Hello, I'm looking for the Color Filter tray and the Cold Lamp module, but I lost the part numbers for them. Does some one have these numbers? I purchase the filter tray for Durst 600 series enlargers, unfortunately they're smaller foe A600. Thank you for your kind advise.
