johan_de_groote
Since a day or 3 this forum has become soo slow that is is close to unusable. Opening the forum, directly in the "medium format" section takes 1.33 minutes. It starts with contacting adserver.00web.com and waits 47 seconds for this, then it waits a few seconds for www.google.com and then it waits for adyieldserver.com until the page loads after 1.33 minutes. Just going to another section it takes about 10-20 seconds (mostly 15-16) at adserver.00web.com, then it spends 10-15 seconds with www.google.com and then 20-25 seconds on adyieldserver.com. Loading a page is never below 30 seconds, mostly around 45 seconds. So opening a post and adding a reply and you are gone for at least 3 minutes, more likely 5. Mike Howard
For me lately, it's actually been much faster than over the last few months. I'm betting it's your ISP or perhaps something in the way it's routed to you.
RobertChura
If you do a search Josh Root has stated the adserver is causing he problem. It is not owned by Photonet and I have noticed a similar problem at other sites that use adserver.
joshroot
Yes, this is a problem. For some reason that adserver is performing badly. People are looking into it but I do not have anything new to report on the situation. It is frustrating for me as well.
johan_de_groote
I doubt it would be the provider, same at the office as at home. But it isn't just those 3 that slow down the lot. But they seem to be the largest problem.
