rory_edge1
Sorry for a couple of hamfisted looking light spots. It's evidence of my quick, but not subtle, efforts to get rid of some dust marks from the scanner bed. Cheers.

rory_edge1
Francis, In English, when one is talking about Newfoundland in the mid-80s, "jumped a plane" means gettin' off at Gander Airport while the plane was refuelling on its way to Cuba. In this case, the man in the photo, and his spouse, forced themselves off the plane physically. Cheers, Rory
jtdnyc
Welcome back, Jim. I've missed your Noctilux shots. Glad to see you're using it on an M8.
rory_edge1
Jack, You may well have heard a CBC interview. If you have been to St. John's, Luben did the big sculpture in the centre of the airport. About a month ago, about 3,000 people showed up for an installation that he did at Grand Bank in memory of Newfoundland fishermen who have died at sea. This is his web site: http://www.sculpturebyluben.com/ Johnnycake, that's special. Brad, I love the second photograph.

jim_clifford
Thanks Jonathan... just got the M8 and have been excited about using my leica glass again. I'm still struggling with the tighter framelines (the 50 lines are very claustrophobic). Here's another shot...
