Image with "ghost" tree in it

Can't for the life of me figure this one out. The lower right hand side of the image has what appears to be a "double-exposed" image of a tree. . .looks very similar to trees to the right of my shot (out of the composition)

Def not double exposed; I confirmed that. Is it possible that lens flare by shooting directly into the sun could have caused this somehow? The other alternative is I did develop a 2nd image in the same tank (negatives were about 1/4 inch apart). Is it possible that during development the image from the 2nd picture somehow made it to this negative . . not sure if that's even possible?

The other possibility is this is not a tree at all but a light leak from my slide that "looks" like a tree??

Any insight would be helpful.
