I'm not sure why, but I like this shot

<p>The focus isn't great, and flare is a real issue. I shot this from inside a restaurant at someone sitting outside. Despite the obvious flaws, I like it. Am I alone, or does anyone else find it interesting?</p>

<p>Different tastes for different people. I just don't see it but if you like it, that is what matters.</p>

<p>I like it a lot, it has a "grungy" appeal, sort of. And it's very artsy. I do mainly mobile phone photos with my iPhone 4 ,because of my preference. <p>I like it too. Almost looks like a painting. Reminds me a little of "Girl with a Pearl Earring."<br>

<p>I like it, somehow the mobile phone is interesting medium due to it's "problems". It does have it's own characteristics. I actually have one mobile phone shot here on photo.net (below) And I feel like it does have something.. a feel of it's own. I'm not converting into phone photographer :D but at least I keep playing around with it.<br>

<p>Jay -- I think it is interesting. The blown background helps isolate the woman's profile and the beer in front of her. The framing through the lattice is nice. The fact that she we see her profile (and the earring) makes it stronger than if her head had been down, or turned differently. And I agree with Santtu that mobile phone images can often yield unexpected and interesting results (as in Santtu's image). Reminds me a bit of the results that one can get from plastic "toy" cameras (Holga, Diana, etc.). From what I've seen recently, though, it appears that some of the better smart phone cameras are approaching the point and shoot quality of just a few years ago. </p>
