"Illegal Cuban In The Rain"

Recommended Posts

Well, I posted this image on the "People Photography" forum

of photo.net, and am not sure anyone other than Tony saw it.

So here it is where it probably belongs, on the Leica forum. It's of

my wife having an illegal Cuban cigar at a party where you had to

go outside on the deck to smoke...even though it was drizzling

rain out there.<div>003Sae-8646484.jpg.43c2a2fd6c36e78e56c3cd8c4240fc34.jpg</div>

Yes, selling/buying Cuban Cigars is illegal in the US (due to embargo) - but Texas oil men still smoke cubans (due to being illegal not eliminating some of the finest cigars around)... and i agree, a woman with a cigar has always done it for me - like they say, if it's good enough for the most powerful man on earth... =)

Some years ago, it had become very commonplace to see NYC women yuppies in their '20s smoke cigars...

Rob, John Kennedy signed the embargo order for Cuba. It is well documented that he had his private secretary run out and procure Cuban 2000 cigars for himself. JFK happily recounted his exercise of executive privilege to anyone who would listen.
