Ilford Multigrade MG500H head for 5x7 or MG100H for 8x10?

I use an Ilford MG500 head (4x5) on my Durst 139G, but I much prefer

larger format negatives and would like to buy/make a Multigrade head

for 5x7 or 8x10. According to Jack Coote's book "Ilford Monochrome

Practice" Ilford made a MG500H head for 5x7 and also a MG100H head for

8x10, but I have never seen any.

Has anyone used one of these heads, or know of any possible sources?

Ilford-USA and Ilford-UK have been no help; Nova Darkroom in the UK

has a 5x7 system but I'm across the pond in the US, and they haven't

responded to email inquiries. I do have two almost complete MG500

systems that I could modify or raid for parts to build a 5x7 or 8x10

head, but I'd much prefer to get some pictures/sketches/drawings of

the factory heads first before starting such an involved project.

Thank you for your help.

I have an 8x10 MG500 system along with 4 4x5MG500 systems. A friend of mine recently got one for his 5x7 Durst but I have not seen it yet. From pics I have seen it looked like the 4x5 head with a "chute" at the bottom of it to open up to fit the 5x7 head on the enlarger. You should be able to make something like that without having to cannabilize the head itself.
