Ilford Gold Fibre Silk

I printed on an HP8750, but didn't love the output. It wasn't the brownish tint (B&W only) I didn't like per se, but the paper itself isn't very white to begin with. Compared with other papers, it has a brownish-yellowish tint instead of pure white.

I would not try it on a dye printer, like Monika said no profiles and poor output. I have used it extensively on my 3800 for mostly B&W prints and find it to be very good. The paper base is very slightly warmer then some other papers but I would never say that it had a brownish-yellowish tint. It is a cooler tone then say Museo Silver Rag. It is slightly warmer then Epson Exhibition fiber. So it is just one of the papers I keep on stock for its particular look.

Thanks Roger, thats it. I couldn't understand why my output was very good when I thought the paper wasn't designed for the ink. I finally found the correct icc profile and that has improved my monitor/print accuracy.
