michael_briggs2
These Ilex electronic shutters are common on ebay. Many were used in oscilloscope cameras. Most are sold without the controller, which leaves the shutter almost useless. AFAIK, no one currently makes a controller for these shutters. If you keep searching ebay, on rare occasions a controller can be purchased for a reasonable price.

At least one person has made their own controller, see http://www.chemie.unibas.ch/~holder/shutter/index.html, and also a previous thread here: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=007Ixa.
