IKOFLEX question

I have an IKOFLEX ll with lever focus the lens a TRIOTAR 7.CM 1:3.5.The serial number 2020836 dates it to 1937 which would indicate that it is not coated. However it has color that looks similar to an oil slick on water. Should it be cleaned and does it affect images?

the Triotar is not be best lens offered on this camera, but it is adequate. I think the only way to answer your question is to run a test roll through the camera and see if the results do show any problem. It's unlikely, in most cases, however, that it will.
