I can't disengage the magazine with the PME90 (Hasselblad) prism finder installed

Hello all! I installed the pme90 (recently bought used) on

my hasselblad but now I can't remove the magazine. I

push the "protruding part of the magazine catch

operating slide" ad per instruction manuale, but it is very

hard and probably does not push enough the slide latch

on the magazine. Do you know how can I solve the

problem? And how can I fix the PME90 prism so that it

does not happen again? Thank you in advance.

<p>Since the release button on the back is hidden under the PME90 prism, there is a slide on the prism that operates the back release. I suspect that slide on the prism was depressed when the back was attached, and did not properly engage the release button. Try pulling the slide outward until it engages the back properly.</p>

<p>I did a little more investigation. The button on the PME90 which is supposed to unlatch the back has two parts. you must press forward (toward the lens) with one part so that the button can be pressed inward to unlatch the back.</p>

<p>It still may be jammed inside, but make sure you are operating it correctly before forcing something. Force is never good on a camera.</p>
