mary_oborny
A friend of mine found some old photos in a garage that are now stuck together. Can anyone tell us how to get the unstuck from each other. I believe they are B & W photos.
bwcombs
I used to put them in a rinse bath to get them apart. You might try taking a couple and submerging in a container of clean, cool water that is recirculating and see if it works. Let it soak for a period of time to see if it releases. Do not pry or peel apart. Let it happen naturally, if it will. If it works, then you can carefully blotter dry the prints, lay them flat to air dry thoroughly. crabseye
My usual response to how to unstick anything is try the refrigerator first. It dehumidifies, causes stuff to contract, and inactivates some adhesives. I don't think it can possibly hurt them.
