jt
A friend has a folder of TIFF images and wants to remove the info onshutter speed, model of camera, etc., from them. Is there a simple way of doing this under WinXP? Any free software? Preferably with a Windows UI but I think command-prompt would beacceptable if there wasn't a more 'friendly' alternative. Thanks! costas_lymbouris
If as you say command-prompt would be acceptable, then download a copy of ImageMagick for free from the link, the windows executable. http://www.imagemagick.org/www/download.html? When you have installed, you will find there is an executable called convert.exe which will do this (and a lot more) using a parameter called strip. Instructions will be in the installation subdirectory www
kelly_flanigan1
Open it up in older versions of photoshop; and resave it. All the EXIF if is then gone forever; so beware; there is no warning that this info is about to be destroyed
andrew_rodney1
You can make a batch action in Photoshop. Select all. Copy. Make new document (size: match clipboard). Paste. Save. The new document has no EXIF data.
