How to publish from LR with 2 watermarks

Recommended Posts

Hi All,
I use LR5, and I was just curious how you deal with dual watermarks on images (left and right sides).

A little back story... I shoot for a local adult sports league, and recently they got sponsored by Miller Lite, so now I need to put their logo on one side and the Miller Lite logo on the other side. Previously I have put their logo / my copyright on the right side, exported all images at 2048 and it kept the logo the same size on all.

Being that I shoot sports, the short edge is not always the same size... it's between 900 and 1800 pixels. If I make one wide image for both sides, some are really small and some are really large.

I can't be the first person with this problem... does anybody have any recommendations how to alleviate this issue?

Thanks!

You can create a graphic element in Photoshop using the logos on a transparent background and apply it in Lightroom. It

should automatically resize to the actual photo area.

See http://bigdesignevents.com/2011/09/8-minute-video-create-a-graphic-watermark-to-use-in-lightroom/ or

Thanks for the feedback Lex and Ellis, I'll try those tonight when I get home.

Ellis, the problem with the transparent background is when I use a portrait image, the width will vary, causing the logos to shrink or grow proportionally, since the transparent space in-between doesn't adjust.
