I don't think there's an actual formula for using the charts. Some years ago a late friend ran the tests. There was a preferred film and developer (D-76 I think.) Then you would view the negative through a microscope at a set magnification to se the smallest set of line pairs. Unfortunately, I can't remember any more information, but you might try a web search. One of the popular US photography magazines had the charts for sale along with the instructions.

TX professional is rated ISO 320 and is available in 120, 220, pack and sheet silms. TX is ISO 400 and is available in 120 and 35mm.
