sunnyindy
Hi, I've been trying to type copyright symbol and my name on my photos. I know how to use text tool, but I can't find copyright symbol. Would you mind tell me how to do it???? Thank you!
NK Guy
That's an operating system issue, not an application issue. On a Mac, type option-G. (alt-G) On Windows, type the easy to remember alt-0169. On the numeric keypad. Intuitive!
phoneguy
It's in the custom shapes menu...also ALT + 0169 on the number keypad.

William Kahn
In Windows, you can also go: Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map. Nice to know, because there are a bunch of non-keyboard charcters there.....
x
Another way is to type the preferred character into a word processing program such as MS Word, then copy the letter and paste it into Photoshop. In Word you might need to use the Insert Symbol... option to add the character initially.
mark_l3
hmmm, seems the character map is more intuitive......maybe NK shouldn't be totally ignorant of something before he/she criticizes it!
fanta
I like to have a .txt file on my desktop, that only contains that character, ready for copy and paste.
