Any buzz or advance knowledge of the upcoming Horseman SW617

Professional? For reference,

here is the Horseman homepage and a link to the 617 pdf.

It's a rise/fall 6x17cm camera. It looks like it has a removable

back and darkslide, and a Fuji GX-like bright-line illuminated

removable finder.

I've been considering a used Fuji GX617, but maybe this is an

option too. I really wish the Fotoman 617 would have a bright-line

illuminated removable finder, as I love the floating framelines in the

Xpan and GX617.

Looks nice but can you imagine the price? It's pretty amazing to think that Fuji

and Linhof 617are getting more expensive when more and more people are

moving to digital and using stitching programs to make panos, where is the

market for this camera? Fotoman has the right idea price wise but I guess it's

rough around the edges.

I've been using the Horseman SW617 with the 72mm lens for the last 6 months.Priviously I was using the GX617 with 180 & 90mm lenses. There's plus & negative points for both cameras but If you like to hand hold & shoot the Fuji wins hands down due to the facility of a body shutter release button absent on the Horseman. The Horseman is definately more versatile with its rise & fall & the option of shooting in 612.The only problem I have at the moment is vignetting when using a Lee filter holder with one slot on the 72mm lens,it looks like I will start to use Cokin 130mm wide X-pro filters to try & overcome this problem.
