jamie_thomas
Right now I only offer matted style albums. I am working on a flush mount album, but man is it worth the work. I guess my question is how much do you charge for a flush mount album? Also maybe I'm dong it wrong, right now I'm doing most of the work in Photoshop. Is there any easier way? Right now I might go with Zook Books. Is there another company that is easier or has templates to use? I will take all the help I can get.
john at storybook pages
Jamie, we design digital flush-mount albums for professional photographers. If you'd like some help - or like to completely outsource the entire project (design-only or design/print/bind) and still maintain control, try us at www.storybookpages.com. Some sample designs and more info about how we work with you on the web site. We use pro labs and Zookbinders, Graphi, Art Leather, Leather Craftsmen, Vision Art...any of the leading album companies to do the print and bind. meldell
Hey Jamie, Sometimes people just don't like designing albums. Or more commonly don't have the time for the workload. It does take a lot of hours to design one. I personally love to do them! You could always outsource it to a company or individual to make them. A few of the big name places offer this as well or you could try someone who does it on the side (like me). I charge $1200 for a 10x10 album (plus a few various prints and things). If you would like to email me, I would be happy to give you the breakdown on the cost. I use Zook and Asuka.
gina_marie1
Melissa, I hope you don't mind but I am planning to offer the same albums and just received their catalogs. I took you up on your offer for advice and emailed you some questions. Thanks!
