kylecovington
I have a Minolta x-300, found it at an antique shop and I don't really know much about it.. When I take a photo the shutter closes and doesn't open again. To get the shutter to open I have to take the lens off, then the shutter will snap open, and as you can guess, all my photos have ended up as blurry pictures of my hands. Is it something wrong with the lens? or the body?
Member69643
If the shutter is staying open your film will be blank. Do you mean the lens iris? Also, are the batteries good? Sounds like the lens might need cleaning
rick_jack1
Hi, Your camera might be fine. It's possible the ASA/ISO is too low for the lighting and it's going into a time exposure mode. Here is a link to the instruction manual: Minolta X-300, Minolta X-300s, Minolta X-370n instruction manual, user manual, free PFD camera manuals
