rdavis
I just received my Panasonic GX1 on Friday and have been going thru the book, on line and on the web triyng to find out why I am unable to only choose between AFS and MF when I push the AF/MF button. AFF and AFC choices are there but am unable to choose either of those two. The book is crappy, web info is spotty. I hope someone has also found a way around this. I am sure it is a setting somewhere that I am missing. I am using a Panny 20mm 1.7 lens. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
leslie_cheung
I'm not really a Panasonic user but that older lens might not be supported in the AFF/AFC setting. Or are you saying the AF/MF isn't working for you, when you push the AF/MF button. I'm somewhat confused by your wording.
rdavis
Leslie, I am getting AF (auto focus) and MF (manual focus) I don't get the option of using AFF or AFC, which are options to stay focused on a subject.
leslie_cheung
The 20mm 1.7 is an older lens and it doesn't support AFC according to http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dsc/connect/g1.html
