peter_ferling
Whatever image inspires you. The one that you take, pause and know you're done for the day... that one.<div></div>
JDMvW
Part of it was the earlier part of the day when a drunk ran into my car, and the inevitable polis and all. Then to finally get back to where I was going in the first place in replacement car, and find the burial mounds and a rainbow on one of the oldest Christian churches in Sweden...<div></div>

The picture itself is not so special, but for me it evokes the feeling of peace on earth that is so special and difficult to find.

tom_mann1
Nikkor 50mm/1.4 AFD at f2.0 with hood; d200, 30 sec, ISO=1600; processed with Focus Magic to minimize spherical aberration & motion blur. The green arc is a mystery. My best guess is that it is from a distant mercury barn light well out of the frame. Other than one night on top of Mt. Whitney, I have never seen such beautiful dark sky conditions. The location was a mile or two off of US 220, maybe 10 mi south of Towanda, PA.<div></div>
