  1. I recently found this very interesting lens called a "Lensbabie" and find it really spurs
    my creative thought....
well made and while it takes a bit of getting used to, I find that it becomes very
    intuitive very quickly.
I use it on my 10d and can't wait to use it during some of my upcoming wedding

see my profile/photo page for examples...
  2. here you can view samples of this-

BTW, I am not an employee of "Lensbabie", just a happy customer!

  3. I give up! Just what is a lensbabie and what does it purport to do?
  4. I did a Google search. Check out http://www.lensbabies.com.
  5. Well duh Art! Just from looking at the pictures he posted and the name (lensbabie) it obviously inserts pictures of little kids (babies) into all your pictures. ;-)

  6. Looks like a "holga-izer"...
  7. Well . . . a Holga is like your car is a Lada. A 'Lensbaby' is like your car is a Porsche, but you've stuffed a sock in the exhaust, so it drives like a Lada.
  8.)you guys are way too gear-oriented.
What's the most important component of your phot setup?
    (sorry Bob)
  9. The most important part of MY photo setup is the photographer.

Luckily for me he has both talent and knowledge of the gear at his disposal. The combination of these is much more important than the subject.
  10. I personally think this is cool. Not sure if I want to spend $90+ on it at the moment, but like Bob said, it sounds "fun." You don't have to constantly be anguishing artists. You're allowed to have fun every once in a while.
  11. $90 for a frickin accordion tube?
  12. Can't you get similar results by smearing vaseline around a uv filter?
  13. I don't get it -

$90 bucks for what can be accomplished more effectively with a spare filter and a bit of vaseline.

Someone is laughing all the way to the bank.
  14. Lucas-

    you are soooo wrong.
the ability to pick the focus point can't be achieved with 'vaseline'.
BTW, the Lensbabies are being used by LOTS of PJ's too. I've seen them in Sports Illust, World
News, The New York Times, etc. etc. etc.

    and now Lensbabie f2,0!!!!!
