silvermoon
Has anyone used Fujica GER, a small Japanese rangefinder before? How do you open the back? Would the shutter get locked to prevent underexposure?
A friend abroad got one of these and wants to use it. I told her to try pulling up the rewind knob all the way up till the back open itself, but she said it didn't open. Also she couldn't depress the shutter though she had put in the batteries and wound the lever first. I wonder if this Fujica is just stuck, or actually has kind of a different design... Can't seem to locate any instruction manual online. Thanks for help.
yi_fay
This could be a clone of Minolta Hi-matic F. This camera has electronic shutter, it needs proper batteries to operate. Make sure the batteries are fresh and of correct type, and check if there is any corrosion in the battery chamber.
