kevin m.
I've been doing a bit of research over the weekend and found out that Ilford is releasing a new fiber-based paper designed to work with laser (not LED) enlargers like the Durst Lambda. Has anyone tried it yet? I found two labs that offer the service, elevatordigital in Toronto http://elevatordigital.ca/ and Laumont in NYC http://www.laumont.com/laumontHome.html Are there any other labs that anyone is aware of that offer the service, or is it specialized? Thanks!
jtdnyc
Kevin, I saw some prints at PhotoPlus last Friday and had a chance to talk with the Ilford rep. You can read about the paper on the Ilford website (though it really doesn't say much): http://www.ilfordphoto.com/products/product.asp?n=61&t=Photographic+Papers+Digital The prints at PhotoPlus looked great. However, the only surface available right now is pearl. Another lab in New York that makes such prints is Modernage.
