Handy websites for India

1. I've been doing a bit of research on the web recently as I'm about to visit
India for the first time. I'd like firstly to say 'thank you' for all the good
advice on here and also to pass on these two sites that I think are
useful.
www.districts.nic.in
This is particularly useful for finding little
off-the-beaten-track places that aren't mentioned in the guidebooks, and . .
.
www.indiamike.com
Very useful and comprehensive site, especially for the
first-time visitor - many of the contributors are resident in India.
If anyone
has any more to add, I for one would be grateful. Thanks, Johnny.

2. Naggar is a relaxing little place about 1/3 of the way up from Simla to Leh. Stay in the modestly priced old castle.
