pia
I have a session with six physicians for a corporate portrait that will be used in an upcoming advertising campaign. Does anyone have any poses that they care share for this type of session. I have a couple of black stools that I can have two sit in and arrange the other four somehow but I am kind of stumped on how I am going to arrange them. Any help would be great. SCL
Peggy - you might want to take a look at Chicago Magazine...almost every issue has 6-20 photographs of physician groups professionally posed in the medical advertising section.
pia
Great suggestion, I will do that. Are they online? I live in Florida so I might have a hard time locating one if not online. Any suggestions?
SCL
Yes they are online....at least the articles are, I don't know about the advertising sections. They did have an issue earlier this year with a major article on medical practices, unfortunately I passed mine along after reading it, but you might try and see if it is online. craig_shearman1
I don't think posing six physicians is any different than posing six lawyers, CPAs, bankers or any other profession if you're doing a straightforward studio shot. It sounds corny, but I would put them in their white lab coats and stethoscopes, or in scrubs if they are surgeons. If they are surgeons or anesthesiologists, see if you could talk them into posing in the OR, around the table with the light overhead and anesthesia machines at the side. (BTW, I'm married to a doctor at Johns Hopkins.)
catherine_oostdyk
I did a Google images search for "doctors group" http://images.google.com/images?q=doctors+group&btnG=Search+Images&svnum=10&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial
johnw436
Just make sure they sign the billing form up front that states they are responsible for any and all charges whether you provide satisfactory service or not. I'm sure one of them will have such a form handy if you ask. Just kidding. No, I'm not. I'm married to a doctor as well.
twmeyer
My client knew what they wanted, but I had to do it in a tiny room with an 8ft ceiling... t<div></div>
