fotografz
Yet another experiment to break out of the box of usual posed wedding stuff (I still prefer the B&W candids shot Leica style)...but you have to do the posed stuff, so I always try to throw in something different. In this case the Bride is a 60s and 70's kind of gal ( a real lover of that era). So I did a poster of her in that sort of "Acid" California style. Took a 75/1.4 mm color shot and worked it in PS. Couldn't do it again if I tried (can't remember how the hell I got there). Printed it up @ 13"X19"" for framing. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it sure was hers'. "Groovy" she said, as she drove off in her new hubby's 70's Corvette. ; -)<div></div>

jeff_rivera5
I'll bet that would look really tripy on acid. Did I just say that!?!?!?. Just kidding.:-)
mike dixon
I think it's in the right neighborhood, but I'd like it better with more of an "Electric Ladyland" feel and less "Purple Haze."

Allen Herbert
I think my monitors on the blink. Marc's wedding shots have gone funny colours. Could be a bad pint, though. Or maybe it's that rolling stuff Al sent me.

gerry_szarek
Looks great Marc, it almost looks like you are tripping! I remember some weird filters that could do something like that from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. I still however prefer the B&W stuff. scott squire nonfiction
It's interesting--usually this kind of tweaks don't result in anything even near worth printing. I think if you could get rid of the really scary yellow cast to her chin and forehead you'd be onto something. Curious to see how nastily posterized and blocked up the supersaturated colors would print, too. This from a longtime admirer of Marc's work.
