Gossen Starlite adjustment

Hi all,

I recently acquired a used Gossen Starlite. Unfortunately it wasn't recent

enough for me to return it, as the readings are several stops out. I've not

tested it methodically, too disappointed atm, but it's very different from three

other metering sources - L308, in-camera D300, Weston Master V.

So, I'm assuming these things can be adjusted/serviced. I live in the UK, anyone

know suitable source here, or in Europe (Bogen US isn't practical)?

Or should I instead deconstruct it with a large hammer for use in an abstract

artwork?

[bTW did the Google thing and just ended up confused]
