What's especially important from the point of view of "real" vs. "fake" data is that LensRentals is the only source I know of that has a large (relatively speaking) sample so meaningful conclusions can be approximated. Most lens tests have a sample size of one (1, count it).... This is true of published (hardcopy) tests as well as on-line.
