ds_meador
I was very curious to know whether anyone uses the Go Pro Hero camera that is advertised here on PN. I've seen it mentioned in a few posts as a suggested possibility, but haven't seen anyone state that they use one. It probably has more appeal as a video camera, but can shoot stills too.
So, does anyone shoot digital stills with one? If so, what are the results like?
Thanks - DS Meador
MichaelChang
There's a photo gallery on the GoPro site.
[Link]

Its strength is the often unpredictable result when used as a point-of-view camera automated in time-lapse mode (for stills). It's literally a P&S with no control whatsoever over photo parameters.

I've seen photographers tying one to a miner's headband (in video or time-lapse still mode) while simultaneously shooting with a DSLR.
