Giving the Mamiya 7 + 43mm a workout

  1. Hi!
Last year i took the Hasselblad Xpan with the 45mm lens to Spain, this year I decided on the Mamiya 7 with 43mm.
I must say, the 6x7 negatives of the Mamiya do it for me: they just sparkle and show endless detail.
The Xpan allows, at least to me, for a more snapshotty kind of shooting. With te Mamiya I'm very aware of composition. But out of 90 shots i have only ten keepers, my usual percentage.
Kodak T400 with orange filter, overexposed one stop, all light metering done with the onboard meter.
    Dirk.

  10. Tremendous shots, Dirk!

  11. Like these a lot. I don't have the 43 but would love to. Everyone I know that has used that combo has been ecstatic about the lens.
