What is this and for what reason?

This is on the Community Member / Gallery Member pages of all members who are not paid subscribers. It is a way to purchase a subscription for that person. It was intended as a way to facilitate purchasing a subscription for another member as a gift. But so far, most of the people using this link have been purchasing subscriptions for themselves, which is also possible.

But some questions are there.<BR>

If I subscribe for somebody as a gift, is it going to be accepted by PN with due permission of that member?<BR>

If it is not, then after the 'Gift Subscription' if that member deny to accept that what will happen?<BR>

Lastly, what are the added benefits will the person get if he/she subscribes for somebody.<BR>

Don't know, whether to ask that or not, but ...just curious.<BR>

Tis a great idea and, with the holidays, a great time to implement the new feature. Five less visits to the donut shop, five less cocktails at the corner tavern, six less packs of ciggies etc., etc. and we could cough up the $25 to one of our favorite photogs who is not a paid suscriber. Would truly make the world a better place.

Why not have this link on everyone's bio page, even those who already is a paying member? One can give as a gift of renewal or additional PN credit, maybe? Just a thought.
