andylynn
I have this Olympus XA that I received from Lou Meluso in a giveaway almost 3 years ago. Unfortunately since my good local lab has closed my film use has plummeted and I haven't used this in a couple of years. I'd like to pass it on to somebody who will shoot it.

Asking for shipping cost only (from Massachusetts). First person who promises to shoot some film with it gets it.

Mike Gammill
I promise to shoot film and process it myself. My XA went south last year. Should I send an email?

Mike Gammill
Camera arrived today and looks great and powered up without a problem with batteries inserted. I loaded it with a fresh roll of Tri-X and found a strap to attach so tomorrow I'll check it out. A bit of a dilemma though: Camera was offered and accepted in the Classic Manual Cameras forum, but battery dependence would indicated posting in the Modern Film Camera forum. So I'd be interested in what the regular participants in this forum think.
@ Andy- thanks again for the camera and for shipping it so fast.
James G. Dainis
I don't really think of a 35 year old camera as being a modern camera. It may have aperture priority but that is about it for moderness. James G. Dainis

Mike Gammill
Thanks, Andy. I developed a test roll during halftime of the Mississippi State vs. University of Southern Mississippi football game and the negatives look great. I've loaded a second roll and will start a thread soon.
