Rob_L1664876404
The (delayed) 20D firmware update is now available on at least one of the URLs listed in previous posts. I downloaded it during breakfast this AM and the update on the camera went flawlessly. This version does require a card reader on the PC to copy the file to a CF card - the update cannot be performed via the USB cable. As Yakim (I think) says - happy shooting! jim_larson1
Cool. Seems to confirm the theory that the "off switch" really only puts the camera to "sleep" and does not turn it "off".
jimstrutz
I'm waiting for the Russian hack from Wasia that will (almost) turn it into the fabled 3D. :)
robert hague
Seems to confirm the theory that the "off switch" really only puts the camera to "sleep" and does not turn it "off".
If I open the card door and reclose it, the activity light runs even when it is 'turned off'... that looks like it's sleeping. Did the 10D do that?
