coneected
Is this a good film for using when travelling? I am looking for a decent consumer grade color film to take to Europe. I only want to take 1 all around ISO speed for indoor/outdoor photos. Has anyone used this or do you have any suggestions for another film choice?
andylynn
Yes, that's an excellent 400 film. Like the other fast Fuji color print films, you can shoot it straight to get strong colors or overexpose it to get a less saturated/less contrasty look.

andylynn
I think my usual price (on the web) is $2 for single rolls. If you're going to shoot 50, that's a very good price.
randall_pukalo
Its not a good price if the film is expired. Avoid expired negative film at all costs, especially for a trip (important memories). I try to get stuff with 2 years till expiration, or at least 1 year out at a minimum. The closer to expiration, the more grainy it becomes. Fresh stuff has smooth, creamy, and beautiful grain. Old stuff is coarse and obtrusive.

matthew_newton
I like it, and my price is around $2 a roll, so sounds like a good deal if it isn't expired film. If it is, you could still consider buying it as the price is great, but make sure it isn't too far expired and shoot a roll or two before going to test it out.
I use superia 400 for most of my photography. Reala, 400h and Ilford XP2 super would be my next most used films (not in that order).
