lawrence___
I have a chance to get a really brand new Fuji GS645S, even it has been discontinued for long time. Beforehand, I would like to know more about this camera.
1) How the "T" exposure operates? I can't find any "T" mark in the shutter ring.2) Does it have a self timer? If yes, where is it and is it electronic or mechanical?3) How is the viewfinder? Is it focus accurately and easily?4) Does the meter accurate? How long is the battery life?5) What price you think it is acceptable? The price I get is almost double a used one.
Any extra comments to this camera are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Lawrence
charles_bandes
1) The "T" exposure is a little odd, there's a button to the right of the lens which needs to be pressed to operate it.
2) I thought at first that the "T" button had a timer associated with it, but after some more fiddling, I don't think so anymore.
3) I find the rangefinder perfectly acceptable
4) The meter seems fine but unremarkable. I haven't used the builtin metering enough to know for sure.
5) I paid around $500 for mine, between $400-$600 seems to be the going rate depending on condition.
I like the camera a lot, if it could do multiple exposures, it'd be the only camera I ever used. twmeyer
The T button initiates a Time exposure, the standard shutter release will close the shutter. Check KEH.com for pricing, I have seen them up to $650...t
