kevin_johnson3
Hey all... I have a Fuji GA 645. I'm having trouble with the camera freezing when you go to take a picture. When I go to take a picture it freezes and the aperture/shutter speed numbers start flashing in the screen. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix the problem? thanks in advance Kevin
randall ellis
Have you tried fresh batteries? You might also make sure that the battery contacts are not corroded. You might also make sure that film is loaded properly, and that the 120/220 setting is correct. Mine has a problem once when I forgot to change the 120/220 setting and it gave problems somewhat like what you are describing. - Randy
dougmiles
I had a freezing problem once with my GA645... just wouldn't take a picture and had an odd readout on the LCD I didn't understand. I switched it off and on. I took out & cleaned the batteries & contacts, then put in new batteries, no change, very frustrating. Finally I found a room that could be made dark, opened the back to take out the film, and found it had already been wound fully onto the takeup spool. Hmmmmmmm The problem? I had come to the end of the roll but didn't hear/feel it run the film fully onto the reel. Pretty dumb huh? :-)
kevin_johnson3
Thanks for all of your suggestions. I feel like i've tried everything.... new batteries, cleaning connections, changing plate from 120 to 220. Nothing seems to work... so, I think I'm off to the local camera repair to get it looked at. Thanks again for all of your help Kevin
joshtaylor
Hi Kevin, I know this was a decade ago, but do you remember if you ever solved this? I have a GA showing the same symptoms.
