Hate to do this, but this magnificent baby has been warming my cabinet.

I have owned it for almost 4 years and it just does not see enough use for me to justify keeping it.

What is awesome is I got it serviced by Nikon in October 2015 and it has a brand new SW motor and also has a newly serviced helicoid. I can share receipts to prove the same. I have not used the lens even once after the repair.

Glass is clean. Cosmetically it has a few blemishes and some paint loss as is evident from the pictures. The rubber filter ring also has some minor tears...nothing that impacts it's functionality.

I spent ~ $500 on the repair and this lens would be as good as a new one and will serve you for many many years to come.

Included in the price is an Aquatech Lens Hood. I bought this brand new when I purchased the 500mm F4:

FS is a Nikon D3 that I purchased used about 3 years back. It's a solid solid camera that has served me extremely well and still does so.

Body+cosmetics would probably classify as KEH BGN condition (definitely looks used). But I have never had any issues with performance. Included is the OEM charger+2 batteries.

I am including 3 batteries. The battery ratings are 1, 3 and 4. Even the one rated 4 holds charge very well.

Shutter actuations ~126,000. So the shutter on this guy has a long way to go.
