Front Page Critique selection

What is the method by which images are placed onto the *front page*

for critique? It does seem that only some images are shown there,

and they mostly appear to be 'old' images that have already been

quite heavily rated.

 

All references to getting critiques refer to posting new images, so

I am wondering exactly what the criteria are for the select few that

reach the front page..

 

 

Humble apologies if this is covered somewhere in the faq's or even

in old questions - if it is, I'm blowed if I can find it.

The Critique photo is randomly selected from photos submitted in the last 30 days with a rating of 14, adding Originality and Aesthetics, or higher. I forget the minimum number of ratings required, but there is a minimum.
