Free photo slideshow options

The Windows 10 and Photoshop Elements 2021 slideshows don't work for me. I want to advance or go back one image at a time and stay there or choose automatic advance at a chosen time interval. It'd be nice to be able to fill the screen completely.

Any suggestions?

I don't create any slideshows these days, but from what I see, some options are:

- you can use Windows Photos (or Photo viewer) to manually step (forwards and backwards) through a pre-selected and pre-ordered set of photos

- you can use Elements to create a slideshow choose one of 3 display speeds (see Phil DC's comment at the bottom of this thread)

- you can try one of the free slideshow software packages listed here

Hi Mike, I'll give Windows another go, but I didn't like it the first time around. Same for Elements. Sofar, irfanview seems to do the trick and I'm very impressed with its easy of use and intuitive approach.

Like mike, I haven't done a slide show in years, but I use to use the slide function in Adobe Bridge or the more-or-less standard Apple freebie stuff.

 

I haven't had to use Windows of any kind in over ten years. I'd try Google for "Windows Slide shows"
